Go on a whale watching tour. The best time to see grey whales is during their migration to warmer waters between December to April. From May to October you might see blue whales and more often than not, pods of dolphins. Our go-to is Davey’s Locker. https://www.daveyslocker.com

Eat a big candy floss and enjoy rides in the evening at the Newport Beach Funzone.
Shop and eat at the upscale Newport Lido Shopping area. Located right by the Marina, here you’ll find unique fashion and homeware boutiques. Pop into the pretty movie theatre for a late night movie.
Rent beach bikes and cycle on the promenade or around the beachy residential streets with its typical Newport-style houses. Want to go a little further? You can cycle all the way to Huntington Beach or drive to Upper Newport Beach Bay Reserve for a relaxing bike ride in nature.

Go for a sunset walk on the pier. Newport Beach has two piers, both are perfect for people watching with plenty of surfers catching waves or amateur fishermen catching fish… you can also spot the occasional seal!
